POETRY BOOK LIST

This is a modest project to facilitate more poetry distribution:
If a book is listed below--which means it's available for trade--that doesn't mean I don't like it or am deaccessioning it. It means that I have a spare copy or copies that I'd rather trade for poetry books I don't have. Books will be poetry collections unless otherwise indicated; books can be other genres by poets or books about poetry or poets, too. (Poets--feel free to trade your own books if you don't see them in my Poetry Library!)

For those interested in trading, your copy does not need to be "new", but simply be in decent condition.

(List is alphabetized by author's or editor's last name, and will be frequently updated as Moi roams la casa and stumble across spare copies of poetry books.)

I just want to stress again that books listed here for trade are not listed because I don't like them and don't wish them in my personal poetry library. These books are spare copies.

I have spare copies of poetry books for many reasons. Sometimes, I buy them more than once (I'm forgetful that way). Sometimes I buy them and then their authors send me comp copies (thank you Poets). Sometimes I see poetry books deaccessioned at the local public library and I pick them up to see if I can help them find new homes.

And so on. But in general I do what I can to keep poetry books in circulation rather than stuck in places where they're not needed/wanted and, thus, not read. For poetry should be read -- and by as many people as possible!
